FRIDAY THE 13th, AND IT’S A GORGEOUS DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!

Day 86 – No fog this morning, sunny and a blue sky – YAAAA. This morning, Rob had an active time at the cliff with plenty to see, and photograph. He spent the rest of the morning on the roof of the RV working on a project. This time he’s taking the top off the refrigerator/freezer in order to install a ventilating fan to make it work more efficiently. The girls, Pixie in particular, spent the morning hiding because there was a GIANT on the roof.

We made a quick trip into Lubec to the hardware store for some wood for the ventilating-fan project. Not even lunch time yet, the streets were packed and there was a line outside the gift store. It is warming up quickly here, completely different from recent days. We suspect we’ll be visiting the screened tent today! I’m doing some dinner cooking prep in advance in case it gets too warm in the RV later.

I cooked & Rob worked on the refrigerator until time for showers, and then the happy hour began with Newfoundland Partridgeberry Bourbon Drinks in the tent. The girls were very happy that Rob slayed the giant banging around on the roof. They returned to their blankets & pads at the dashboard window. The high today was 76 degrees, sunny with a slight breeze, very nice.
