It’s August. Really?! Time flies…..
Day 74 – It was 54 degrees, sunny and clear this morning. Rob went out to the cliff, relaxed with his coffee, and took a few pictures. (We guess the squirrels know which mushrooms are okay to eat. And our neighbor tried our chantarelles and said “they were delicious and she lived to tell the tale”, LOL.)

After lunch we went for a drive. It was a really beautiful day, clear & sunny. We saw many Osprey, some flying overhead, some on nests. We ended up finding a boat launch site at the Orange River Conservation Area in Whiting. It looks perfect, and we’ll take the kayaks back another time. Later in the afternoon we went out to the screened tent. The high today was 68 degrees. A juvenile Bald Eagle flew over the water, and a couple of Kingfishers flitted back & forth. It was a beautiful, peaceful day.
