HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ERNIE! WE HOPE IT’S A WONDERFUL DAY!
Day 53 – Since we’re leaving tomorrow morning, we spent the morning running errands to prepare for the next leg of our journey to the 1,000 Islands region of upstate New York. We’ve never been there – new territory for us. After a quick visit with Cathie & Pete, we went to stand in line at Wally’s, our last chance to stock up on these fantastic bagels, and as usual, we got sandwiches for today’s lunch.
We drove to Milton, VT on the mainland to find a grocery store and got a few items, stopped for gas in the Honda, and were back at the RV before the cats knew we were gone. Nice to be missed, ho ho.
Rob spent all afternoon outside reading under the maple tree. I took a nap, then joined him. Cathie & Pete came over later, then we all ordered pizza to go from Pan’s Pizza & ate outside near our campsites. 75 degrees today. Very relaxing. All is good. We enjoyed our two weeks here at Champlain Adult Campground very much. It was quiet & private, extremely well-maintained, and we’ll come back again. Click any picture below to see a slideshow.
