HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAREN O. WE HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR DAY!
Day 29 – Very foggy today. We both worked outside. Rob was digging a hole in the area we want to build a cottage to see how many feet it took before reaching cliff ledge. If he had hit cliff ledge sooner than four feet, we might have had to blast to put in a foundation for the cottage – something we don’t want to have to do. He dug four feet and hadn’t reached rock; that’s a good thing. I was chipping/shredding cut-down trees & branches for use on the trails in the form of wood chips to cover & protect the paths.
It was 53 degrees at 6:50 a.m. and foggy. Throughout the day the fog just increased and it never got over 58 degrees. When Rob was out on the cliffside trail he was confronted by an upset Kingfisher very close to where he was working. Too bad he didn’t have the camera with him!
