Day 28 – 7:20 a.m., 54 degrees, foggy. We aren’t usually here for most of September, so this weather pattern is new to us. It didn’t get over 55 degrees today and just kept getting more foggy – to the point where we couldn’t even see the water below the cliff. The weather has varied from day to day. At times it’s seemed more like October (which we are familiar with).
Rob did some work up near the road at the upper trailer pad. This is where we expect to spend our time parked with the RV for months next year when the cottage is being built. Hopefully, we’ll be out of the way of the contractors but still able to observe the process. Since we don’t know now exactly when this will be, we should be able to just come up to Maine, hook up to the well, septic, and electric utilities at a moment’s notice.
This afternoon, we had an enjoyable phone conversation with our cousin, Ann, then we drove into town to pick up more pizza. With all the garlic we’re eating from Morano’s Pizza & Calzones, maybe we are preventing the spread of COVID in Washington County, Maine? A new cure for the coronovirus? We are doing our part!
