Day 20 – At 6:30 a.m. the temperature was 52 degrees; it continued to drop from there into the upper 40’s. Cold & dreary out with some wind & a few sprinkles of rain. Not much going this morning. Ho hum. After our showers, coffee/tea, and NY Times, we bundled up with the cats on our laps while we were on our computers. They really hate competing with computers.
After lunch we called Rob’s sister-in-law, Sophie, to wish her a happy birthday. Even sang her the birthday song out of tune. How embarrassing…..wrong day…..her birthday is tomorrow. Then we heard from Chris, and our moods changed. He does want to work with us, so we now have a general contractor! We are on his list of projects and we can quit worrying about it. He’s busy with his current project, and he will need some time to get us all the numbers based on the information we’ve given him, so we’re not signing contracts or giving him any money yet. That means we can change the home plans even more. Hee hee.
We ordered pizza again from Morano’s. We kinda like this curbside delivery thing, having the food delivered right to your car. The food was fantastic again. But the world supplies of garlic are probably depleted.
