A DAY OFF.
Day 72 – Well, we know it’s weird, but even if you are retired & traveling around the country, you do need a day off. A day to do absolutely nothing at the RV. A day to be with the kitties. A day with no phone calls, no pictures to take & post, no driving to do. A day with no place you have to be at a specific time. Today was that kind of day.
Because we’d lost several weeks of planned travel due to my knee injury, we found we were trying to fit everything in that we wanted to do in a shorter period of time. Even this kind of pressure can cause stress, although it’s not a really bad kind of stress, we admit. We decided to just forget about trying to see everything at the wildlife refuge, forget about the laundry & shopping needs, just stay around the RV and do nothing. Like it was a weekend, and there’s this narrow timeframe you’ve set aside to relax & have nothing you have to do. It even happens when you’re retired and just travelling around.
So today is no pictures and no stories and absolutely nothing to say but see you tomorrow when we do something exciting like laundry. LOL.
