CHANGING OF THE GUARD.
Day 111 – We decided to stay another day. We’d paid for three nights but we weren’t quite finished with this place, so we paid for another night. Today was warm and there was full sun with no wind. The high today was almost 77 degrees. It was a good day to go see the petroglyphs.

Day 110 – As previously mentioned, Cathie & Pete are camping near us. Pete is a funny dog, and he constantly cracks us up. Night before last we were sitting in the tent, Cathie was visiting, and Pete was inside her trailer tucked away in his bed.

Day 109 – Desert camping is interesting. We’re in the middle of nowhere and it’s mostly flat land with some hills in the distance. Talk about big skies! No towns of any size are visible. You can see 360 degrees around you. It’s just us and the other campers, no one else as far as you can see.

Day 108 – At 7:30 a.m. this morning it was 43 degrees and sunny. We are headed to a new campground to meet our friend, Cathie and her dog, Pete, spend some time catching up – and also to check out the petroglyphs.
