Day 50 – Week Eight begins today, and we’re at the halfway point of this trip. If it wasn’t for doing this blog, we’d have completely lost track of time. Halfway through & we definitely know we love doing this (what’s not to love?). Life is short, enjoy it while you can. OMMM….

Rob was up at 6:45 a.m., me at 7:30. 65 degrees, sunny, and the humidity increases as the morning goes on. Rob went immediately down to the beach and took more pictures. I watched a Great Egret searching for breakfast near our site. By 11 a.m. it was 80 degrees and very humid; it may rain tonight, so “they” say, and the humidity will go back down. More people have arrived in the campground since Sunday but so far, all is quiet.

We just stayed around the campground today; Rob was glad he went to the beach early. Oppressive out and it makes all of us, including the cats, not want to move much. High today, 82 degrees, very humid. By evening we are completely clouded in and the wind has picked up. We’re hoping the rain comes through soon to drop the humidity. Finally at 11 p.m. we decided give up on the fresh air, close the windows, and turn on the air conditioning. Now we can get to sleep.
