HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RON! WE HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT CELEBRATION!
Day 111 – Rain this morning, 50 degrees, very cloudy. It wasn’t long before it stopped raining, but it remained cloudy all day. In the afternoon Rob went outside to do a little work, and it turned into several hours of tree cutting & clearing. He loves this kind of work. The view now extends all the way along the cliff, through the remaining trees, to the water. And except for a couple of dead trees, that part is finished. It looks great & the remaining live trees should thrive with the increase in sunlight & more room to grow.
In the evening we went to gathering at Kerry & Simon’s cottage. It was quite nice & very enjoyable. Lots of people were there, some we’d never met. And we were able to catch up with some people from the area that we hadn’t seen yet this year. Thank you, Kerry & Simon for putting this together! The high today was 54 degrees. Back to the RV, we cuddled with the kitties & read our books until we got sleepy.
