STORM AND RELAXATION
Day 172-173 – The storm hit Sunday morning with lots of rain and moderate winds.
We took advantage of the storm to relax in the RV. Vicki is continuing to get a little better each day.
But… if it isn’t one thing it’s another. Rob woke up today with a sore left heel. Not sure what he did to it. Now he’s limping around. We’re quite a pair!
On Monday, we had planned to do some final Canadian grocery shopping. There are these amazing ginger cookies we have only seen in Canada and we wanted to stock up! Also, there are some very good frozen Salmon burgers that we found in Canada that are better than anything we have seen in US grocery stores. We hoped to stock up on those as well.
We drove into Sussex (about 20 mins away from the campground). The weather was very nice. We went to the Sobey’s grocery store and the parking lot was empty! Huh?? Even WalMart was closed! Turns out it was Indigenous Peoples Day, a national holiday. Oh well. It was nice to get out anyway.
The girls are doing great and feel that all is back to normal. They are troopers.
