Day 4 – 57 degrees & cloudy at 7:50 a.m. when Rob got up; I slept until 8:15. The kitties slept late, too. We are spending the morning catching up on some things, then heading out for some exploring. By noon, many campers had checked out & for now we have no one on either side of us. It’s 64 degrees & humid at 12:30 p.m.; all 4 cats are sleeping soundly.
After lunch in the RV we left in the tow car (leaving kitties sleeping in the RV, windows open), and on the way to the “RV/MH Hall of Fame, Museum & Library” in Elkhart, IN we saw lots of Amish horses & buggies.
We stopped at a RV parts store & picked up a car towing electrical connector; ours broke yesterday when Rob disconnected it after getting to the Park. Because we were near Elkhart where so many RV’s are manufactured, it was easy to find a place to get a small part.

We arrived at the Museum at around 2:30 p.m., 76 degrees and sunny. We enjoyed the self-guided tour and getting to walk into & take a look around inside different campers, trailers, & motor homes dated from the 1910’s to present. We got back to the RV at around 5 p.m. after stopping at an Amish stand for a wonderful fresh lemon custard. The girls were busy chasing a large moth around; we don’t even think they knew we were gone. The Park was only about ½ full with the sites on both sides of us still empty. Tomorrow we drive to Illinois. Had dinner later this evening thanks to the lemon custard and therefore got to bed later, too. We won’t be in a rush tomorrow morning so we can sleep in if the cats allow it. Thinking of making our drives a bit shorter for the next few days.
