Day 45 –  Warmer this morning at 44 degrees, sunny with a breeze.  Rob spent a lot of time with his coffee, admiring the view from his favorite spot on the cliff trail.  (I call it his ManCliff since he doesn’t have a ManCave.)  Recently he trimmed some of the lower branches on some of the trees, and his view from there is really nice.

Before noon we went in to Lubec to run a few errands:  got gas in the Honda, took out the trash, stopped at the post office to have them stop delivering mail, and picked up a couple of lobster rolls for lunch from Shore Thing.  We did some more chores to get ready to leave tomorrow, then went out to the tent before packing it up to take home.  Rob did the final dumping of tanks & I packed up the inside cabinets as much as I could, except for what we’d need tomorrow morning.  We were just about done when Michael & Suzanne stopped by to say good-bye for the season.  It was great seeing them both & Bella (their beautiful dog).  Thanks for coming over.  We took a picture of Gracie; she was wondering what that big dog was doing here, but too lazy to get off the seat.

Earlier Rob took some final pictures of the land for this trip, which include the new view from his ManCliff.  This trip was a good & productive visit.  If things go as planned, we’ll be here for many months next year while the cottage is being built, and then staying in it for awhile.  We’re curious what it will be like here next summer & fall.  At what stage will the virus be then, and how will it be effecting life?  And who will be in charge?  (Everyone, please vote.)
