CONGRATULATIONS, ANN D. ON THE NEW JOB; WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY!

Day 24 – Rain and heavy winds are coming this way today & tonight, maybe tomorrow, too.  It was 38 degrees and cloudy at 7 a.m.  Figuring we’d have to hunker down in a few hours, Rob went outside to work on one of the trails before the winds started.  Two trees had come down over the winter and a section of one path had collapsed.  He got most of that cleaned up & came inside just as the wind picked up & the rain started.

The winds were supposed to get over 30 MPH, but it didn’t get that bad, thank goodness.  Rob finished the building permit & forwarded it to LUPC.  They sent us an e-mail, setting the date of October 7 for a site visit.  Later in the afternoon we played a few rounds of UNO.  It continued to rain fairly hard throughout the night.  That was great as it’s been dry so far during our visit.  The high today was only 52 degrees.
