A FAREWELL.
Day 117 – It was a gorgeous day, although it did rain a little while Rob was sitting out at the cliff with his coffee. Later though, the high was 71 degrees with full sun. We spent much of the day getting ready to leave. We went into town to the post office to have them stop our mail delivery, and also checked one last time to see if any Scallops had come in. No. Just one more thing we will miss. Here is another – a picture taken later this afternoon.

We saw Michael walking Bella, coming back from checking the mail. It was great seeing you, Michael, as always. A good-bye to you & Suzanne, Simon & Kerri, and Dana, those who read the blog, and to the rest of the folks here who don’t – it was good seeing all of you.
After working hard to close things up for winter, and for the trip back home, we said farewell to the land for another season. We spent some time in the screened tent watching the tide in the Harbor. Also, on the way back from town, we saw 3 Bald Eagles flying overhead, two of them playing, chasing each other. We will miss everything. Click any picture below to see a slideshow.
