MT. BLUE STATE PARK.

Day 69 – It was 60 degrees this morning, refreshing! We went for a drive to check out the area. This is a large campground with several camping loops. Most of the campsites were occupied, so we’ll drive through again between check-out & check-in times to get a better idea of the size of the sites.

The State Park is located in two areas separated by the large Webb Lake. One of the Park areas has the campground, the other has many hiking trails. We explored the campground, then drove to the other, even larger area of the Park to try to get a scenic view from the top of the mountain. We saw mom & dad turkeys and their babies, and enjoyed our drive. It was still hazy out, but not as bad as yesterday. Click any picture below to see a slideshow.

It rained a little this afternoon and the high today was 74 degrees. After lunch we drove around the campground to get a better look at the campsites. There are 136 campsites, only 12 offer electric & water hook-ups.
