ABOUT TURQUOISE VALLEY GOLF & RV PARK: This private park was basically a stopover destination for us to empty and fill tanks. It was very convenient that they also sold propane and we could fill the RV tank. We had never camped in this area of Arizona before.
There were 100 RV sites. We had site #89 with full hook-ups. Most of the campsites were full; many with seasonals and full-timers. The campground had a laundry room, showers & restrooms. The cost was $30 per night. It appeared that originally this was a resort park with golfing and a restaurant, both were no longer available. The town of Naco was fairly run down. It was located at the border to Mexico. We would stay here again if we needed a quick stopover.
Turquoise Valley Golf & RV Park (used to be called Bisbee RV Park): 1791 W. Newell Street, Naco, AZ 85620. (520) 505-1642.
