ABOUT TRAVELER’S WOODS OF NEW ENGLAND: This RV campground is a convenient stopover on our long drive from NY to downeast ME. It is located in the beautiful Berkshires in MA, 5 miles below the border with Vermont. Bernardston, MA is a quaint, old town. The campground offers 20 tent sites and 104 RV sites. Many of the sites are filled with seasonal campers. The campground is extremely well-maintained. We’ve been coming here for years and they are always spotlessly clean. All campsites except for most of the tent sites offer electric and water hook-ups. Sites R21, R22, R23, and R24 are our preferred sites. There are two dump stations, and they offer a mobile dump service. There is a playground, a propane filling station, dog walk areas, a camp store, and laundry facilities. We paid $30 a night. Check-in time is after 2 p.m. Check-out time is before 1 p.m. They are not open all year – they open in May and close in October. 152 River Street, P. O.
