ABOUT THE TOWN OF KING’S POINT RV PARK: We’d never camped here before. We saw the Park the last time we were here in 2019 when we were driving around checking out the area. We wrote it down thinking it had a good water view. We’re glad we did!
King’s Point RV Park is a town park. There are 18 campsites. The information in the Traveler’s Guide wasn’t up-to-date. They had added 5 more sites. Reservations in advance are important for this Park. Many campers arrived on a Monday, several only stayed one night, but they were replaced by others. The campground offers full hook-ups (including sewer) for $30 per night (Canadian currency). We stayed 5 nights. Amenities include: 8 campsites right by the water, a beach, a deck that runs out close to the shore, a playground, a laundry facility that is FREE!, restrooms, convenience store, dump station, firepit/BBQ & picnic table at every site, and an electric car charging station. Each site has its own trash receptacle and there is a recycling trash receptacle near the laundromat. We were never told what the check-in and check-out times were; we arrived at 12:15 p.m. and it wasn’t an issue. Check in was done at the gas station nearby. We had a very good internet signal. The camping season in 2023 was listed as May 13 to September 30. We’d definitely stay here again.
