Quileute Oceanside Resort & RV Park, La Push, WA

ABOUT QUILEUTE OCEANSIDE RESORT & RV PARK: This Park had one of the best & prettiest ocean views we’ve ever had. Everything from small protruding rocks to large, wooded sea stacks surrounding raging seas are right outside your RV. The weather was cool in late May with lots of rain and fog. Still gorgeous. We will be back again!

The Quileute Oceanside Resort & RV Park sits within the Quileute Indian reservation. There are rules about taking pictures and videos. They prefer you photograph the scenery, not the people nor their sacred places. Wednesday nights they have Native American Drumming, Dancing, and Singing. Their artwork is beautiful.

The RV Park is located in La Push, Washington about 15 minutes northwest of Forks. Because of the beauty of this place and its close-by proximity to Olympic National Park and the four rainforests, it is very popular here year round. Many fishermen stay here, bring their boats, and use the marina. Reservations are a necessity.

There are three RV Parks operated by the Quileute Reservation. We stayed at the Quileute Oceanside Resort & RV Park. It included: 15 deluxe oceanfront cabins, 18 standard oceanfront cabins, two oceanfront motel units, and an RV campground with 26 campsites. We had site #2 for the first part of our stay and moved to #18 for the second part of our stay, a total of 7 nights. The best views are from sites #3 thru 11. Sites #13 thru 19, also #2, (with #18 the best of this group) have partial views. There is a campground office, camp store, a cappuccino/coffee truck, a laundry room, restrooms & showers, trash pick-up at the site, and all campsites have full hook-ups. (The cabins and motel feature full kitchens or mini-kitchens, and are furnished in an authentic Native American style. Most units have decks or porches and enjoy a spectacular ocean view.) Lonesome Creek RV Park, adjacent to Oceanside Resort, offers 40 full hook-up sites and 10 small camper cabins. There are also 6 tent sites within this Park. This Park is older and more primitive with smaller campsites and less room between sites. Quileute Riverview RV Park opened in March 2022. It is located 6 miles from La Push on the Mora Road which leads to Rialto Beach. It offers 28 campsites, most of them large but they are in the open – it’s mostly like an overflow campground although it does have full hook-ups, restrooms, showers, laundry, an office, etc. First choice for us would definitely be Quileute Oceanside Resort & RV Park! Check-in was supposedly 4 p.m. but people were checking in much earlier than that. Check-out time was 12 noon. We paid $40 per night, plus taxes & fees. The cabins are expensive but they look really nice…….
