Leasburg Dam State Park, Radium Springs, NM

ABOUT LEASBURG DAM STATE PARK: The main reason we chose this campground is that is was about halfway between two destinations. It was a convenient stopover location. It was our first visit and we stayed one night.

The small State Park is located adjacent to the city of Radium Springs, NM, a small city. There were 3 campground loops: Greasewood – 9 campsites with 4 water/electric hook-ups & 5 without hook-ups; Cactus Patch – 10 campsites, all sites have water/electric hook-ups; and Cholla – 5 campsites, all sites have water/electric hook-ups. The cost is $10 per night for no hook-ups and $14 per night for water/electric hook-ups PLUS an additional $4 reservation fee. There was a dump station, water spigots, a playground, and restrooms. We would stay here again for a quick stopover; it was nothing special otherwise.
