ABOUT HARBORVIEW INN & RV PARK: We had never stayed at this campground before and we booked it sight unseen. It turned out very well! The campground was located on scenic Tillamook Bay, and we had a site right on the water with nothing in front of us to obstruct our view but a narrow walkway. We had the last campsite in a row of sites that were on the water, so on one side of us there was just some grass and bushes. No one occupied the campsite on the other side of us our entire 5-night stay. It was quiet, the campground was not full, and even over the weekend it was relaxing.
We were conveniently located in Garibaldi, not far from Tillamook to the south; to the west was the Ocean, to the north were small, but crowded, beach towns, and to the east were farm lands and forests. Very nice. Many scenic drives were a short distance away. Good restaurants, too. We would return to this campground again, definitely.
Harborview Inn was a small motel with 18 rooms off to the side, away from the campground. The campground had 31 campsites, one with a tiny house on it. The grounds were well-maintained and the customer service was very good. Several restaurants were within walking distance of the campground. There was a laundry room with two washers and two dryers, showers, full hook-ups for all campsites, and the sites were nicely spaced from each other and plenty large enough for the Honda and the RV. No complaints. Cost was $52.50 per night including taxes and fees; this was the waterfront site fee. I don’t know the cost for the other campsites. Check-in time was 2 p.m. (with permission they let us check in at 1:00). Check-out time was 11 a.m.
