There isn’t a street address for this Gros Morne National Park campground, but it is located off Route 430, the main highway through Gros Morne, 12 kilometers north of Rocky Harbour. Most of them are too small or a tent campsite, or they are out in the open. There is one really great site, #6 (no hook-ups), which is overlooking the Ocean, and although it’s very close to the trail that leads to the sea, it would be worth staying there just for its view. (Some of the campsites do have hook-ups.) There is a dump station and potable water is available as well. Other amenities include a beach, comfort station, internet/wi-fi, and firepit/BBQ. The campground was open from May 20 to October 10 in 2023. Check-in is after 2 p.m. and check-out is before 11 a.m. A National Park entry pass is required for all National Parks in Canada. We drove through this campground on September 7, 2023.
