ABOUT GLEN HELEN REGIONAL PARK CAMPGROUND: We have never camped in this area before. Due to heavy wind conditions at our previous stop, which changed our arrival time at this campground, we didn’t really get to spend much time here (although we had reserved two nights).
This campground was located across the street from the Glen Helen Regional Park and Amphitheater. It was surrounded by Interstate 15, Interstate 215, and a railroad yard in a pretty area beneath some mountains in San Bernardino. Although it was loud due to the traffic, it was a good campground offering 20 full hook-up sites and 25 campsites with no hook-ups. There was also a dump station. Full-hookup sites were $30 per night; no-hookup sites were $25. Check-in time is 3 p.m. Check-out time is 11:30 a.m.
