ABOUT FOREST RIDGE CAMPGROUND: This was our first time at Forest Ridge Campground. The campground is very convenient to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor without being in the center of all the National Park crowds.More importantly, it is near Martha’s Diner and their wonderful crab quiche!
There are many rules and regulations that you have to agree to before they will complete your reservation. That is fine with us because they don;t put up with partying campers. It’s a nice quiet spot, just as we like. There are 34 pull thrus with full hookups; 2 pull thrus with water and electric; 10 non-pull thru with full hookups; 10 back-ins with water and electric. There is a dump station, propane, trash, restrooms, laundry. Check in is 1 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m. In 2023, they are closing October 15 for the season. $65/night plus tax and fees. We would stay again. We had site 44, pull thru full hookups.
