There isn’t a street address for this Gros Morne National Park campground, but it is located off Route 430, the main highway through Gros Morne, not far from Rocky Harbour. This is a fairly large campground in a busy area in mid-Gros Morne National Park and it’s very popular with hikers. There are lots of trees which keep most campsites somewhat private from each other. Berry Hill offers electric & water hook-ups in 25 campsites; the other 44 sites are unserviced. The hook-up campsites fill up quickly; it’s fairly easy to get an unserviced site. There is a dump station and potable water is available as well. Other amenities include a comfort station, internet/wi-fi, laundry, firepit/BBQ, restrooms, firewood, trash & recycle, parking for the busy hiking trails, and a play area/playground. There are several good campsites with our favorites being Sites #60, 62, & 66 with hook-ups and Site #21 without hook-ups. Other good sites are: #23, 25, and 57 (no hook-ups) and #56, 63, & 64 (with hook-ups). The campground was open in 2023 from May 26 to September 24. Check-in is after 2 p.m. and check-out is before 11 a.m. A National Park entry pass is required for all National Parks in Canada. We drove through this campground on September 7, 2023 (and stayed here for 9 nights, Site #60, in 2019).
