Bayshore RV Park, Tokeland, WA

ABOUT BAYSHORE RV PARK: We had never been to this area before and took a chance with this campground. We were very glad we picked this place. Located at the south end of a peninsula in a very small town, Bayshore is in a lovely setting on the Willapa Bay near where it joins the Pacific Ocean. It is tidal, therefore the scenery changes often, and so do the birds. There are at least two resident Bald Eagles that often flew right by the RV. The most Bald Eagles we saw at one place at the same time was 5! There are many different shorebirds. It was very nice.

The Park itself appears to be a little small and rundown from the road, but it is actually quite nice, just simple. There is no playground and no fancy amenities. No organized games, no swimming pool, no sauna, no golf course. Just quiet and peaceful. We had site #24 on the water. Full hook-ups. There are some seasonals and full-timers here but they are parked closer to the road. We didn’t hear a peep out of them. It felt like we were the only ones here most of the time. The Park is fairly expensive, in line with a fancy, crowded campground with amenities. We loved it here. We would come back again.

There are approximately 35 campsites with 10 in a row overlooking the Bay (with beach and water access). All sites have full hook-ups, a picnic table, and a fire pit. There is a laundry room, a camp office, trash & recycle, restroom & showers, and there is a rental apartment and a studio apartment. We paid $470 for 6 nights; weekdays are cheaper than weekends. We had excellent phone and internet signals. Check-in time was 2 p.m. Check-out time was noon.
