Day 54 – It was 31 degrees this morning, but you wouldn’t know it was that cold out when you  looked through the windows. The sky was clear & the sun was out & it was still a little windy. Around 11 a.m. we left for Waycross to run some errands.

We got propane for the RV since it’s been cold, and we did some grocery shopping. When we got back to the RV, it was still cold and a bit windy out, but the temperature had at least reached 50 degrees. All four girls were sleeping in the sun on the dashboard. We made a late lunch, then waited for it to warm up some more before going outside to read in the screened tent.

The wind died down & it was 55 degrees. We went out to the screened tent & looked out over the Lake. The water was glassy – really beautiful out. Later, we enjoyed some wine & beer, toasted to you, Karen!, and had a good evening. Tomorrow should be really good weather. I don’t trust my knee to get in & out of the kayak yet, but maybe a bike ride? Riding a bike is part of physical therapy…….
