There isn’t a street address for this Gros Morne National Park campground, but it is located off Route 430 in Cow Head. This is a fairly large campground in a popular area of north Gros Morne National Park. Cow Head has a white-sand beach that’s 5 kilometers long and this attracts many visitors. They also host the Gros Morne Theatre Festival all summer and the Gros Morne Fall Festival the third weekend in September. There are 62 campsites, all unserviced. There is a dump station and potable water is available. Other amenities swimming, include a comfort station, firepit/BBQ, trash & recycle, picnicking, parking for the beach, and a playground. More than half of the campsites are out in the open with no privacy. The rest are okay. The best campsite in the campground is Site #31 for sure. The campground was open from June 16 to September 10 in 2023. Check-in is after 2 p.m. and check-out is before 11 a.m. A National Park entry pass is required for all National Parks in Canada. We drove through this campground on September 7, 2023.
