WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES.
Day 44 – It rained hard all night last night and was 36 degrees when we got up, still raining. That was the high temperature today – 36 degrees. The temperature never went up, hitting 34 degrees briefly but staying mostly at 35. It continued raining all day and all night. We were afraid we might get snow, and since we’re traveling in the RV tomorrow, that wouldn’t be a good thing. It just rained so we lucked out. The wind picked up during the afternoon. Summer is not here yet; spring has barely arrived.
After yesterday’s sunny, nice weather and our great drive, we remained hunkered down in the RV today. This is a nice campground and we’d definitely come back again, especially this time of year when we had the Park all to ourselves. Biting bugs had not yet arrived, and the campground had many Warblers flitting about from tree to tree. Rob has walked around with his camera glued to his face, a happy camper, literally.
