Salina KOA Holiday, Salina, KS

ABOUT SALINA KOA HOLIDAY CAMPGROUND, SALINA, KS: We picked this campground for a one-night stopover because of its location – near I-70, because that’s the road we were coming in on and the road we were leaving on, and because the drive wasn’t too long from one campground to another.

Like most KOA’s we’d stayed at, it was perfect for a one-night stay. Getting reservations and checking in, and out, were simple. The campground was clean and well maintained. We were assigned site #21, a pull-through site with full hook-ups. Although the campsite was located very near the Interstate and across from a playground, it wasn’t a problem just for the night. Check-in time was 3 p.m. and check-out time was 11 a.m. It cost $42.03 for one night. They also had propane available, so we were able to fill our small tank. Convenient.

This campground offered 104 campsites which included sites for RVs and Trailers, Tent campers, Cabins, and Glamping Tent sites. They had a playground, a swimming pool, horseshoes, volleyball and basketball courts, plenty of parking, a laundry room, a dog run, a propane station, an office and store, pizza delivery, breakfast during the summer, rec room, restrooms, showers, trash receptacle, dump station, a catch & release bass pond, a TV room, and a gift shop. We’d stay here again for one night because it was convenient.
