ABOUT WILLOWBEND CAMPGROUND, MAPLE CREEK, SK: The campground was well maintained and offered full hook-ups. There are restrooms and showers available. Sites are located in a field. There are some trees in the campground; it doesn’t feel like you are in an open field. Sites are large; many are pull-through campsites. We don’t know how many campsites there are, but a guess would be 40 to 50 sites. Firewood is available in the campground office. All sites have picnic tables. No generators are allowed (they have electric hook-ups). Garbage receptacles including recycling are available. There is Wi-Fi. Check-out time is before 11 a.m. No check-in time was mentioned.
We had site #C11, a pull-through. Having full hook-ups was also welcome! We would stay here again. The easy in, easy out of this campground is great. Cost was $40 per night (Canadian currency). The campground was close to the city of Maple Creek, convenient. There was a train that ran by near the campground but it wasn’t bad, noise-wise – we were not close to the train tracks, though.
