ABOUT DESERT VIEW RV RESORT: We were happy to receive informational paperwork when we checked in to this campground! Will wonders never cease…..
Needles, CA was the halfway point between Burrow Creek Campground and Cibola National Wildlife Refuge, which is why we decided to stay here for one night. We’d never stayed here before.
The campground was very well maintained. The campground roads were lined with beautiful mature palm trees and every campsite had dense oleander bushes separating it from the next campsite. These bushes helped to protect from the windy conditions. We could barely see the trailer parked next to us. Very nice.
We were assigned site #27 with full hook-ups. We had a good internet/phone connection. First time in a week. There were 70 campsites. In one section there were seasonal/full-time campsites. Most of the “resort” was for transient campers. We would definitely stay here again.
The campground offered restrooms, a swimming pool, laundry room, dog run, showers, BBQ, a clubhouse, horseshoe pit, and parking. The cost was $44.50 per night. It was worth it. Check in time was after 12 noon; check out time was before 11 a.m.
