Beaver Dune Park, Beaver, OK

ABOUT HACKBERRY BEND CAMPGROUND AT BEAVER DUNES STATE PARK: We did not receive any informational brochures about this Park, just followed instructions when we got here, drove through and picked a campsite, and paid via an envelope left at the iron ranger. This was just a one-night stopover; we’d never been here before.

There were two different campgrounds within the State Park. When we arrived, there wasn’t anyone else camping here. Hackberry Bend Campground had seven campsites for RV’s all offering electric and water hook-ups. The other campground was basically for ATV usage at the sand dunes. We chose site #2, but any of the 7 campsites would’ve worked for us. There was a small lake and stream for fishing nearby. Geese and ducks flew in for the night. We left the Honda tow car hooked up to the RV for a quick exit in the morning. It was perfect for a one-night layover. We paid $25.00 for one night, off-season. There was a dump station and restrooms were available. Beaver Dunes Park, Beaver, Oklahoma.
