CRAB & LOBSTER.
Day 179 – It was 44 degrees this morning and another pretty day. It’s supposed to rain this afternoon and all night. Most of the campers are leaving today, leaving the campground pretty empty. The site we have in the field looked like it would become a muddy mess in the rain. We decided to change sites to one of our favorites that doesn’t get muddy when it rains.

We took a nice drive around the Freeport area and then drove to Days Crab and Lobster shack in Freeport. We split a crab roll and a lobster roll. Delicious! They also have a seafood market that is attached to the takeout store. We bought some crab and lobster to get us through until we can make it back to Maine – 4 lbs. of lobster & 4 lbs. of crab. Fortunately, we have some room in the RV freezer!

Later we got some takeout from the Broad Arrow Tavern, where we ate last night. Good food! On the way back to the RV, we noticed the incredible late evening light as the sun began to set. We rushed past our campsite to get a better view and took a few shots.

Tomorrow we will be going to Massachusetts for a one-night stay, then Tuesday we go home to New York. It’ll be great to be back home!
